New Office in Rio de Janeiro

HOCHTIEF do Brazil has inaugurated its new office in Rio de Janeiro.

The new office is located at Praia do Flamengo, 154 in the capital city of the state of Rio de Janeiro, with the purpose of strengthening its relationship with the companies present in the state, providing a greater proximity in the capturing and development of new business opportunities generated in the state.

According to Jairo Bastos, executive director in charge, there is a strong expectation that, over the next few years, this state will receive a huge volume of resources, whether in relation to the business and construction involving the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games, as in the result of ventures under development in the petrochemical sector and investments inherent to the Pre-Salt, the Porto do Açu Industrial Complex, the Maravilha Port and ironworks, among others.

HOCHTIEF do Brazil has executed several projects in the state of Rio de Janeiro, with clients such as CSA ThyssenKrupp, Hines, Petrobras, Alstom/Termorio, Rede Globo/Projac, among others and a few ventures, which are currently under execution, such as the CN2 Building for Confidere, ECO Sapucaí, the expansion of CasaShopping, 1º de Março Building,
